For Florida clients, I am currently unable to work with commercial insurance, so all sessions will be self-pay. For Virginia clients where I am still a Resident in Counseling, I am prohibited by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Board of Counseling from accepting payment directly, and also from accepting insurance in my private practice. As soon as practical I plan to accept many commercial and state-funded insurance programs for my clients in Florida. Clients in Virginia who need to use insurance benefits can work with me through my alignment with another group practice (Hope Inspired Therapy (see below).

Fees collected through my private practice for clients in Virginia are processed by my supervisor, Sharon Watson, LPC, LMFT, LSATP, NCC, ACS (VA License 0701002169).
When you work with me in private practice, you have the option to keep a credit card on file and authorize Susan Klemmer LLC to charge your card, or to pay at each appointment and choose the payment option that works for you each time.
I will happily provide a Superbill after your session for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
Hope Inspired Therapy, LLC (Virginia clients only)
In addition to my private practice, I am aligned with a group practice in Virginia, Hope Inspired Therapy, allowing me to accept most commercial insurances including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna and United Health Care as well as many state-funded insurance programs.
Fees to work with me at Hope Inspired Therapy depend on your insurance carrier and their current co-pay requirements. Hope Inspired Therapy requires that you keep a credit card on file. Fees (such as co-pays) collected through Hope Inspired Therapy will be processed there on the date of service.
