Susan Klemmer, LHMC, NCC is the sole proprietor and only clinician in the practice at this time. If you decide to work with Susan Klemmer LLC, you will be working directly with me at all times, from scheduling to billing to intake, treatment planning and all the way through actual sessions. I will bring my authentic (tattooed, often sweary and sometimes irreverent self) to every session and I hope that you will too.
I will listen without judgment, question without criticism, and be with you every step of your journey. You are safe being your authentic self with me, always. If we find that we’re not a good fit, I will help you find another counselor.
The practice, Susan Klemmer, LLC, was formed in 2023 for business reasons, with the long-range goal of a more marketable business name in place by the time my private practice launched.
But life takes erratic turns, and I grabbed a golden opportunity to launch my practice while still finishing my Virginia licensure requirements, and the “placeholder” business name stuck.
The practice has recently relocated to Florida, and I am currently accepting new clients in Virginia and Florida by telehealth only. I plan to have an in person office in Sanibel, Florida (near Ft. Myers) and be able to work with insurance benefits starting in 2026.
